About
We test what your AI chatbot tells your customers.
AnswerTested asks a business’s AI chatbot the questions real customers ask, checks each answer against the business’s own website, and shows the results in a report anyone on the team can read.
Why AnswerTested exists
More small businesses now answer customers with an AI chatbot. These chatbots can give wrong answers about prices, returns, delivery or opening hours, and the business is often the last to find out. In one well-known case, a tribunal held Air Canada responsible for a wrong answer its chatbot gave a customer.
Most chatbot tools let you test your own bot inside their dashboard. AnswerTested tests it from the outside, the way a customer meets it on your website.
What we do
- Open your website as a new visitor and start a chat with your chatbot.
- Ask 10 common customer questions, such as returns, delivery, hours and how to reach a person.
- Check each answer against the facts on your own website.
- Check that the chatbot says it is an AI, as Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires.
- Give you a report with every question, every answer and what was wrong. See a sample report.
What we don’t do
- We don’t build or sell chatbots, and we don’t change your chatbot’s settings.
- We only test chatbots on websites you own or have permission to test.
- We don’t give legal advice. Our EU AI Act check tells you what your chatbot said; a lawyer can tell you what that means for you.
